　Ryukyuan Dance Performance in July

     Ryukyuan Dance "Ryukyuan Dance Appreciation”

 This is a performance to enjoy the best of Ryukyuan dance, from classical dances handed down from the Ryukyu Dynasty to "Zo-odori"(miscellaneous dances) created After 1879 period and creative dances of the modern period. In the first part, we will present classical one-person dances,  "Zo-odori", and creative dances performed mainly by the holders of Ryukyuan dance, a nationally designated Important Intangible Cultural Property, and in the second part, we will present mainly characteristic group dances from each school. Please enjoy the diverse world of Ryukyuan dance performed by a wide range of performers.
